1 Our Commitment to User Safety

PerfectlySuited is a personality-first dating app for adults (18 +) built around intentional connections.
We believe technology should protect people first—not just connect them faster.
Our policies and systems are designed to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for every user.

We prohibit:

  • Harassment, hate, or discrimination of any kind

  • Sexual exploitation, trafficking, or non-consensual sexual content

  • Stalking, doxxing, or threats of violence

  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or any child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

  • Fraud, impersonation, or scams


2 Age and Eligibility

  • PerfectlySuited is strictly 18 years and older.

  • We may use age-assurance tools or require ID verification when risk signals arise.

  • Creating or using an account on behalf of a minor is forbidden and results in permanent removal.


3 Prohibited Content & Behavior

We remove and may report any:

  • CSAM/CSAE — including AI-generated or “fictionalized” depictions involving minors.

  • Grooming or enticement — asking someone’s age to pursue minors or testing boundaries.

  • Sex trafficking activity or coordination.

  • Non-consensual intimate imagery or revenge-porn behavior.

  • Harassment, bullying, or hate speech (slurs, targeted degradation, or group attacks).

  • Scams or fraudulent solicitations (romance scams, crypto scams, “sugar” schemes, etc.).

  • Impersonation or catfishing — posing as another person or entity.


4 Safety by Design

We apply a layered, “safety-by-design” approach:

  • Profile vetting signals flag likely fake or harmful accounts before they reach others.

  • Image hash-matching (e.g., PhotoDNA) helps detect known CSAM.

  • Behavioral limits throttle mass messaging or boundary-testing patterns.

  • Safety nudges prompt users before sending risky or overly explicit content.

  • Event integrations include on-site hosts and QR-based check-ins for accountability.


5 Reporting & Feedback Mechanisms

You can report problems from inside the app at any time:

  • Tap ⋯ on a profile, photo, chat, or event → select “Report.”

  • Choose the reason (e.g., “Child Safety,” “Harassment,” “Fake Profile,” etc.).

  • You can also block and unmatch instantly.

  • For urgent concerns or offline incidents, email safety@perfectlysuited.app.

We review reports promptly and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, and—in cases involving children or criminal conduct—law-enforcement notification.


6 Handling Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

PerfectlySuited maintains zero tolerance for CSAE or CSAM.

Our process:

  1. Detection & containment — Content is quarantined; accounts are immediately locked.

  2. Mandatory reporting — We submit CyberTipline reports to NCMEC within 24 hours as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and the REPORT Act (2024).

  3. Data preservation — We retain the report and evidence for ≥ 1 year per law (aligning with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework for secure storage).

  4. International cases — Reports go through the appropriate INHOPE hotline.

  5. Do not notify offenders — Suspects are not alerted to preserve investigation integrity.

Victims or guardians can also request removal of intimate imagery created as a minor via NCMEC Take It Down.


7 Data Protection & Privacy

We protect data under applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA, U.S. state privacy acts):

  • Minimal collection: Only what’s required to operate and keep users safe.

  • Limited retention: Safety reports and enforcement records are kept only as long as needed for legal compliance.

  • Restricted access: Only trained Trust & Safety personnel handle sensitive reports.

  • Encryption in transit and at rest.


8 Transparency & Accountability

We periodically publish Safety Transparency Summaries outlining:

  • Total reports received and action types

  • Time-to-resolution metrics

  • Partnerships with law-enforcement and hotlines

We also audit reviewer training and policy effectiveness to continuously improve safety outcomes.


9 User Tips for Safer Dating

  • Keep conversations inside the app until trust is established.

  • Never send money or financial info to someone you haven’t met in person.

  • Meet in public places and share plans with a friend.

  • Trust your instincts and report anything that feels off.
